Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of AI Tools Brief at https://ai-tools-brief.com/. By subscribing or using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not subscribe.
1. What the service is
AI Tools Brief is an email newsletter covering AI tools and related news for operations and IT readers. There are two tiers:
- Free — an edition three times a week, at no cost.
- Pro — a daily edition, charged as a monthly subscription.
Editions are also published to the online archive. Free editions are readable by anyone; Pro editions require an active Pro subscription.
2. How the content is produced
Editions are assembled automatically and are not reviewed by a human editor before sending. Sources are scanned, selected and summarised by software using AI language models. This is stated on every page of the site and it is the honest description of the process.
The consequence matters, so it is worth stating plainly: summaries may contain errors, may misread a source, and may omit context. Always check the linked original before acting on anything you read here.
Nothing in the newsletter is professional advice of any kind — not legal, financial, security or procurement advice. It is a briefing, and decisions taken on the basis of it are yours.
3. Accounts and access
Access is tied to your email address. Signing in uses a single-use link sent to that address rather than a password. Anyone with access to your inbox can therefore access your subscription, and keeping your email account secure is your responsibility.
Do not share Pro editions or your sign-in links outside your organisation. Subscriptions are for one person.
4. Payment and renewal
Pro costs €25 per month, billed in advance. Promotional pricing is shown clearly where it applies and reverts to the standard price when the promotional period ends.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. The subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
If a payment fails we will attempt it again and email you. If it continues to fail, Pro access ends and the subscription reverts to the free tier.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your dashboard, with no notice period and no cancellation fee. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
6. Right of withdrawal — EU and UK consumers
As a consumer in the EU or UK you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason.
Because this is digital content delivered immediately, the law allows you to ask for delivery to start within that period, and to consent to losing the right of withdrawal once it does. By subscribing to Pro and receiving your first Pro edition, you request immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal for that billing period.
If you have not yet received a Pro edition, the right of withdrawal still stands. Write to [email protected] and the payment will be refunded in full.
7. Refunds beyond the withdrawal period
Outside the case above, subscription fees are not generally refundable, because the service is delivered daily and consumed on receipt. If the service failed on our side — editions did not send for an extended period, or Pro access did not work — write to us and we will put it right, by extending the subscription or refunding the affected period.
8. Changes to price or service
We may change the price or what the tiers include. Existing subscribers will be told by email at least 30 days before a price change takes effect, and you can cancel before it applies. We may also stop the service entirely, in which case we will refund any period already paid for and not delivered.
9. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break into the service, disrupt it, scrape it at a scale that affects other users, or resell or republish editions as your own. Quoting a short extract with attribution and a link is welcome.
10. Intellectual property
The editions, the archive and the site design belong to the publisher. Third-party names, headlines and trademarks referenced in editions belong to their owners and are used to identify what is being discussed.
11. No warranty and limitation of liability
The service is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, that every edition will arrive on schedule, or that the content is free of errors.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from use of, or reliance on, the service. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited — and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Data protection
How your data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy Terms, which forms part of these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
